The data storage market is undergoing a period of rapid change. Certainly the use of Flash will rise significantly in 2017, and analytics will play a bigger role, increasing the need for rapid Big Data storage platforms. Perhaps of the greatest significance: software defined storage will integrate with cloud computing. In contrast to a siloed approach, this union of cloud and software defined storage will likely play a key role in the hybrid cloud.
