Time: A new survey of likely smartphone buyers holds good news for Apple and Samsung. According to ChangeWave Research, 54 percent of consumers planning to buy a smartphone in the next three months said they would likely pick an iPhone. While that’s down from the September survey when 65 percent of people said they wanted an iPhone, Apple is still dominating mindshare among potential buyers.

The survey also found that 13 percent of smartphone buyers planned to pick a Samsung phone. While that’s a lot fewer than picked the iPhone, it’s a big increase from September when only 5 percent planned to buy a Samsung smartphone.

When it comes to customer satisfaction with operating systems, 75 percent are “very satisfied” with iOS, while 47 percent say the same about Android, 32 percent for Windows Phone and 22 percent for BlackBerry.
