PCMag: At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Microsoft executive Steven Sinofsky took to the stage to unveil the Windows 8 Consumer Preview. He called the release a “bold re-imagining of Windows,” as well as “beautiful, modern, fast, and fluid.” He added, “We think it will be a super fun experience and will come natural to people.”

The new consumer preview of the operating system includes more than 100,000 code changes from the developer preview launched last fall. Microsoft did not say when a final version of Windows 8 will become available.
