USAToday: The Australian High Court has dismissed Apple’s patent lawsuit against Samsung, freeing Samsung to sell its Galaxy smartphones and tablets in that country once again. In a statement, Samsung announced that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 “will be available in stores in time for the Christmas shopping period.”
This is just one battle in a much larger war, however. Patent lawsuits between the two companies continue in nine other countries. Courts in Germany and Netherlands have previously ruled in Apple’s favor.
