Cisco Certification Exams To Include Simulations
Cisco Systems has announced that, starting with the new
“refreshed” CCNA exam, simulation types of questions will become a
standard part of Cisco certification exams. According to Cisco, this means that in addition to the usual multiple-choice type questions,
candidates will be presented with a scenario and networking topology and be asked to address specific tasks by entering router commands. If you are already scheduled to sit for the non-simulation version of the CCNA exam (640-507) you will be able to take it, but you can reschedule for the newer version (640-607) if you wish. No new registrations for the non-simulation version will be accepted.
